Worn at: Various Steampunk events, FanExpo 2010, FanExpo 2011
Why I chose this costume:
I have several reincarnations of my Steampunk costumes, but most of them
revolve around the same various pieces. My 1876 walking skirt from
Harper’s Bazaar, the leg ‘o mutton sleeve blouse, a new black crinkle-charmeuse
top worn exclusively with an underbust corset, a leather bustier… and
countless accoutrements are part of this ever-growing wardrobe.
My main Steampunk character’s name is Miss Camille Léon, (but sometimes
goes by Ms. Grenadine). She is a rich widow, with nothing but time and
money on her hands to go gallivanting at her leisure.

Second so-called incarnation of the Steampunk

Lady Léon: the final-ish incarnation of my
Steampunk costume still includes my walking
skirt, but also a black crinkle-charmeuse and
wasp-waist corset, reticule purse, as well as a
black top hat, dreadfalls, and large lilies. I
think this is my favorite look so far.
